و التمارين اذا كان بالامكان ؟

The semi-modal : used to

We use it to express a past habit

Examples

When I was a child,I used to go to the mosque with my father but now, I go alone

When my father was young,he used to smoke

She didn't use to be shy like this

Did you use to practise sport in the past?

Where did she use to go after school?

Exercise: Conjugate the verbs expressing past habits

I ( to drink ) coffee very much

He ( not to be ) selfish when he was living here

The weather ( to be ) so cold in this town?

Why she ( to hate ) him though he ( to be ) very kind?
