Hi there ! I suggest talking about something rarely dealt with. Something that you use pictures to support ( trust me variety, color, unexpected things are the best choice to leave a good impression ) . I suggest the following topics:

Talk about English accents : I explain , for instance do not choose known accents like American or British English but instead on the other accents that is the accents of English that show people original countries like the French accent of English , the German, the japanese, the Indian, the Italian. People from these places have a specific influence on how they speak English . Your role is to focus on these differences and show them to your colleagues. After you finish talking about the differences try to find examples and learn them by heart. Then tell them to your colleagues and ask them to decide by saying ( where am I from now? ) . Trust me they will like to participate and your teacher will be astonished because all the classroom will try to know which accent you are imitating.

2 choose talking about things in nature or science, or technology : for instance talk about :
a. the wrong ideas people have about food like chocolate ( people think it is the direct reason of the red dots on the face skin )
b. the seven wonders of the world ( bring their pictures)
C. The three apples that changed the world ( Adam' s apple, newton' s apple , and Steve' jobs's apple)
D. Social network sites: f.acebook, twitter...
C. Schools systems in Korea ( their airport is classified the best in many years )
D. Talk about an Islamic icon ( عمر بن عبد العزيز، سليمان الفارسي، عمر الخطاب) and always bring something that is either audio or visual .
E. talk about recycling ( an idea that we badly need in Algeria) and keeping the environment clean .
F. Talk about the problem of child bullying in schools.
G. Talk marriage ceremonies in different countries ( India, Japan, Algeria , Korea, Jordan and do not forget pictures )
H. Talk about first aid ( read and summarize something about first aid and show it to your colleagues for instance how to bandage, how to deal fire, how to deal with earth quakes... Etc.

it happened to me last year and i was so confused what to talk about

so i just talked about: CHARITY
and i used statistics and examples of life

i advised my friend to talk about : CULTURAL SHOCK
and the teacher liked it so much

don't be scared just talk and don't care about the audience
try to avoid repitition
