فلقد كتبت هنا ردا عن ذلك و اظن انك لم تلحظه

Start your paragraph by a topic sentence which is a sentence that gives a general

idea of the paragraph.From this sentence,we can understand what the paragraph will speak about

Then add some supporting sentences which explain the topic sentence and you can examplify

meaning you can give some examples to make the topic sentence clear

Finally,end your paragraph by a concluding sentence

Example

Algeria is a very nice country ( This is a topic sentence ) It has got many beautiful sites ( this is the first

supporting sentence ) like Tipaza,Diidjel,and Tamenrasset ( This is examplifying ) Wherever you go,you

can enjoy the beauty in my country ( This is the second supporting sentence and you can add more) Ilike

Algeria very much and I believe that anybody does the same as me ( This is the concluding sentence

The conditional

There are four types of conditional: type 1,type 2,type 3 and type o

Today,we are going to see conditional type 1

Look at these examples

If I finish my work early,I'll visit my uncle

She won't come to the party if she is not invited

Well,we have two clauses combined by if

The clause in which we have if, is called if clause

The other clause is called the result clause

The verb of if clause is put in the present simple

The verb of the result clause is put in the future simple

If can occur at the beginning or in the middle of the sentence

Let's have a look on the first example again

If I finish my work early,I will visit my uncle...........It means that

If I don't finish my work early,I won't visit my uncle

It means that the result clause depends on the if clause..........It means that

If the if clause happens,the result clause will happen and if it doesn't happen,the result clause won't happen,too

Exercise 1: Give the right form of the verbs in brackets

If it ( rain ) ,we ( not go ) for a picnic

If it rains , we won't go for a picnic.

The pupils ( be ) punished if they ( not do ) therir homework
The pupils will be punished if they don't do their homework.
If he ( come ) tomorrow,he ( take ) his the children to their mother
If he comes tomorrow , he will take his children to their mother .
Exercise 2: Complete with an if clause or result clause

If the teacher is absent tomorrow, the pupils will ask why
or
the pupils will ask about the raison

If it snows, the children will be glad

She won't wash the clothes, if she hasn't time .

I won't watch it, if i don't finish my homework.

He will succeed,of course if he works hard.

Expressing Agreement

Examples

A: I am very tired today

B: So am I

A: I live far from school

B: So do I

A: I am not busy

B: Neither am I

A: I don't like horror movies

Rule : To express agreement,if the sentence is affirmative, we use : so+the auxiliary+subject but if the

sentence is negative,we use : neither+the auxiliary +the subject

Expressing Disagreement

Examples

A: I was absent yesterday

B: Oh!I wasn't

A: I won't travel tomorrow

B: Oh! Iwill

Rule: To express disagreement, if the sentence is affirmative,we use the negative and if it is negative

we use the affirmative

Concerning your question about the use of the verb "advise" the correct one is " advise someone to do something" but there is another case where you can use "advise doing" but it hasn't the same meaning. Here are two exmaplesm
The teacher adivsed the pupils buying the Oxford Dictionary.
- He advised them to recite the lyrics of the song
