- Algeria is devided into 48 states, between them there is Medea that has number 26 in the dividing administrative. Medea city is an Algerian state loacated on the high hills, on the Atlas Mountains, it rises 920 m from the sea. Blida borderlines it from the north , Djelfa from the South , Bouira and M’sila from the east , and both of Ain-Defla and Tissemsilt from the west.








- I twas the capital of Beilek El-tittri, Medea was a Roman town anb its name is a Roman Princess called Medea , the historians say that Bouloughine Ben Ziri but others think that it was there before this time. The Turkishes settled in Medea and built their own buildings after, it was a battle centre of Emir abd El-kaderand it still until 1837 when the French Colonizing destroyed all the buildings and built his prison camps .
- Today , Medea is famous by its ruines as : Achir city in Ain Boussif , aqand Rapidium in Djeouab, by its own tombs like sidi Sahraoui and Sidi El-berkani . also by its grapes as they fabricate that is known by the name of Roub and halwat anoub and it has dilicious food for example Belboul , Baghrir, Deouara and Zelouf.
