How to write a poem in English?

peace be up on you

for a long time ago i stopped writing poems or anything but an exam paper ..not weeks or months..it's years..
*many things has changed ..my feelings emotions i felt like they were erased by an invisible hand!!
In my way to start from scratch i would like to share this experience with you may this thread lead those who felt like me or those who never tried to write
..
1-writing a poem is all about observing your world how you see life around or inside you
Dont force yourself to write and just enjoy it.


2-read or listen to some peoms , meanwhile you'll notice that a line or 2 are comming from nowhere
3- try to choose a subj and use ****phor and Simile


4- Rhyme and meter (the pattern of stressed and unstressed words) can be dangerous if used the wrong way! Use them with caution …


5- keep trying and never say i can't ..

Absolutely !! I guess all the problem is whit inspiration
Sometimes we just lose it, or let's say it hide from us
In the whole history of art and artists
The most best works were when the artist was in a bad emotionally situation

i think that bcoz stronger feelings are mostly sad ones .. writers think a lot about life and problems than other people and that's the reason behind , don't you think?
