If you mean English books, I recommend you to read these two novels :

! They are so wonderful at taking you away

I'd also love to read "Never let me go" , written by kazuo ishiguro

I've seen the movie and it really blew my mind

Instead of losing yourself in it , it become a part of how you understand and interact with this creepy world..
