Well, kids here are some interesting information about animals. And they are all true! No, made up stories. Why not surprise your friends with all the animal knowledge you gather from here. Maybe you can quiz them and show them how smart you are.

So, here we go with some cool animal facts for kids…
The blood pressure of a giraffe is the highest in comparison to every animal species.

Flash the color orange in front of a zebra and it will not be able to see it. So, be careful not to paint a wall orange where zebras wander!

No matter what age one is, the world of animals tends to attract a lot curiosity. And all the more what interests people are the facts about animals – strange, amazing, funny, sad, interesting… it is all about the facts one can find…

Here are some interesting animal facts that increase one’s knowledge and awareness with regards to the wildlife…

There are presently over a million animal species upon planet earth.

The reptiles have 6,000 species crawling in their habitats; and more are discovered each year.

There are over 70,000 types of spiders spinning their webs in the world.

Well, there are 3,000 kinds of lice. Yes, it is the lice we are prone to get due to lack of hair hygiene.

This is a mind-boggling fact – for each of the 600 million people there is about 200 million insects crawling, flying...

Mammals are the only creatures that have flaps around their ears.

The world has approximately one billion cattle, of which about 200 million belong to India.

The life of a housefly is only 14 days.

A dog was the first animal to up in space.

A sheep, a duck and a rooster were the first animals to fly in a hot air balloon. The oldest breed of a dog known to mankind is the ‘Saluki’.

An ostrich is the fastest bird and can run up to 70 km/h.

Never get a camel angry, for he or she will spit at you.

this is a funny story

Two frogs had lived in a village all their lives. they thought they would like to go and see the big city that was about ten miles away.

They talked about it for a long time, and at last they set off to see the city.

It was a hot day, and they soon began to feel tired. They had only gone a little way when one said to the other, "We must be nearly there. Can you see the city?"

"No," said the other frog; "but if I climb on your back I might be able to see it."

So he climbed up on the back of the other frog to see the city.

Now when the frog put up his head, his eyes could only see what was behind, and not what was in front. So he saw the village they had just left.

"Can you see the city?", asked the frog who was below.

"Yes," answered the frog who had climbed up. " I can see it. It looks just like our village."

Then the frogs thought that it was not worthwhile going any farther. They went back and told the frogs round the village that they had seen the city, and it was just like theirs.

نظرية طالس

اذا كان ac قطراً في الدائرة يكون المثلث abc قائم في b.
في الهندسة الرياضية تقول مبرهنة طالس أنّه إذا كانت a و b و c نقاط على دائرة حيث ac قطر لهذه الدّائرة تكون الزّاوية abc زاوية قائمة.
بيان النظرية

رسم للبيان.
نستعمل الحقائق التّالية
 مجموع الزوايا في مثلث مساو لمجموع زاويتين قائمتين 180°
 زاويتي قاعدة مثلّث متقايس الضّلعين متساويتان.
 لتكن o مركز الدّائرة. بما أنّ oa = ob = oc يكون oab وobc مثلثان متقايسا الضّلعين وبما أنّ زاويتي القاعدة في مثلث متقايس الضّلعين متساويتان ينتج أن obc = ocb،abo = bao لتكن bao = α وobc = β
تكون الزوايا الدّاخلية في المثلث abc هي α، β، α + β
 بما أن مجموع زاويتي في مثلث هي مساوية لمجموع زاويتين قائمتين يكون


في بعض الدّول الأوروبية مثل فرنسا ترمز نظرية طالس لنظرية مغايرة لما تقدم راجعها هنا، مبرهنة تالس.
النظرية المعاكسة
تقول النظرية المعاكسة لطالس أن وتر مثلث قائم هو قطر الدائرة المحيطة به. عند الدمج بين النظريتين نحصّل على
 مركز الدّائرة المحيطة لمثلث يوجد على واحد من أضلع المثلّث يعني المثلث قائم.
تقسيم خط مستقيم إلى اجزاء متساوية

نظرية طالس, تقسيم مستقيم إلى أجزاء متساوية
نظرية طالس: إذا قطعنا حزمة من الخطوط المتوازية بخطين, نحصل على أجزاء متناسبة بين بعضها البعض.
لتقسيم قطعة مستقيمة إلى 5 أجزاء متساوية، نفعل ما يلي:
1. نرسم الخط ab
2. على نصف الخط الذي أصلة في a نعلم نقطة 1
3. بواسطة الفرجار ننقل المسافة 1-a ونجد النقطة 2
4. نتابع العملية السابقة على طول الخط ونجد أجزاء متساوية 4-3-2-1
5. نوصل النقط 5 و b
6. نرسم من النقط 4,3,2,1 خطوط موازية للخط 5_b, التي تقاطع الخط a-b وتقسمة إلى اجزاء متساوية بينها.
