Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Make matters easy (for people) and do not make them difficult, and give people glad tidings and do not repulse them." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] Sahih/Authentic.
عن أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه مرفوعاً: «يَسِّرُوا وَلاَ تُعَسِّرُوا، وَبَشِّرُوا وَلاَ تُنَفِّرُوا».
Explanation:
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) liked to
make matters easy for people. Whenever he was given a choice between two matters, he would choose the easier option, except if it was unlawful. His words: "Make matters easy and do not make them difficult" apply in all situations, and his words: "give glad tidings to people" mean tell them pleasant things, which is the opposite of warning and threatening.
