التصحيح النموذجي-غير رسمي- لموضوع اللغة الإنجليزية This is the correction of BEM June 2012 according to Mr.Samir Bounab ( It is not the official one) A. Reading comprehension: (07 pts) Activity 01: (02 pts) 1. Before the internet, (b) the British used to listen to the news. 1pt 2. They used to watch the news on TV (b) once a day. 1pt Activity 02: (03 pts) 1. People in Britain used to read the newspaper on the train ( while travelling to work). 1pt 2. Things became more complicated when 24hours news arrived and then the internet. 1pt 3. they =people. 0.5pt one =newspaper. 0.5 pt Activity 03: (02 pts) 1. Synonyms: probably = possibly.+ might ( 0.5pt ) different = another + separate. ( 0.5pt ) 2. Opposites: hard = easy. ( 0.5pt ) less = more. ( 0.5pt ) Part One : (07 pts) B / Mastery of ******** Activity 01: (01 pt): Supply the punctuation and capitals where necessary The most popular print newspaper in Britain is the “Sun” . 0.25 pt 0.25 pt 0.25 pt 0.25 pt Activity 02: (03 pts) Re-write the following passage and put the verbs in their correct form When the internet appeared, the national newspapers began to claim that they would lose all their readers. 1-Not disappointed ..rather shocked and offended :The whole year we bit ourselves telling stuedents they WILL have this and that type of question,this and that scale ,and in the end we were DECEIVED AND BETRAYED!!! SLAPPED in the face ...2-Why testing frequency (which was tought not in 4th or 3rd but second and first years!!!)...3"ONLINE"...who in hell is supposed to know the meaning of such a word! maybe they think everyone has a PC and has access to internet,why not using the word INTERNET simply, instead!!!!4-"different=separate",the latter word is a "passive" word as we say in the jargon,why testing it?They could've tested others that has a link to the comprehension of the text!!!!!....5- Again....the paragraph was a MASSACRE,nor the instruction was clear,nor the hints were helping.....THEY KILLED US ,both teachers and pupils ....the effort of a whole year if not 4 was vain |

everything in the subject was diappointing as teachers ,we are asked to teach grammar points in contest so how abouth the table of the comparative and superlative given in the subject |

@Fidaa: I totally forgot about the WhQ,indeed ,the students were told to have only Yes/No questions(according to the damned guide!),yet they got something else...........and you're right about the number of activities assigned and also the scale,so far English exam has never had themark 0.25!!.......Morale:never trust them!! |

First I want to thank all who created and participated on this page . In fact this is an achievment for all the teachers of English . Recently I recieved an invitation to admit on a meeting in Ain Tmoushent from 07.07.2012 to 15.07.2012 to learn about " Didacting English ********" under the supervision of British teachers and inspectors . If you heard of the title please help and give me some hints , ideas , books , pdf , doc , and internet pages. |
