Track Description
In an industrial, economical and social context with an increasing competition, several parameters affect the
choices and the decisions of production systems. These parameters are from different natures: the facility ********,
the technology to implement, the production management, the production systems dimensioning, the supply chain
management and the global organization. In this context, production managers look to exploit in an optimal and
flexible way their systems in order to produce goods with the lowest costs and with the highest quality. Based on
that, several production facilities are more and more interested in the optimization of their systems. This
optimization goes through the resolution of different kinds of problems related for example to operational
management by scheduling tasks in complex configurations, strategic decisions by designing production or
assembly lines, flexible manufacturing systems, facility layouts, multi-family production planning, stock inventory
and many other problems.
This track deals with the latest developments and methods proposed to solve the above problems by trying to
optimize different objectives and taking in consideration different constraints.
The track gathers three sessions dealing with the following topics:

· Modeling, Optimization and Simulation of Systems used in Flexible and Reconfigurable

· ****heuristics for optimal design of industrial systems. F. Yalaoui, L. Amodeo, Y. Massim
Submission: Authors are requested to provide a full paper of 6 pages maximum written in English or French, in
accordance with the template format of the conference. The authors are requested to submit their draft papers
online at https://www.hypersciences.org/ccca11
