I have a best friend
Or that is what I thought
We saw each other all the time
But not so much anymore

I miss her so very much
And all the fun things we did
The chats and great conversations
Now seem to be a distant memory

The phone calls have mostly stopped
And no more lunch dates to enjoy
I feel so lost without her in my life
And I want to go back to how it was

I have no idea what has happened
Or maybe nothing even has
We haven’t had a fight or anything
But I want my best friend back

Maybe everything is fine with us
And I am imagining all of this
I sure hope that it is all in my head
Because she is someone I really miss
