Mh51 Educational Psychology

Structure and *******
The programme in Educational Psychology has a standard duration of 120 ECTS credits (2 student full-time *****alents).
The first year of study consists of three compulsory modules (1, 2 og 3), each worth 15 ECTS credits (¼ student full-time *****alent). Each of the modules (1, 2 and 3) comprises two course elements (1 course element worth 10 ECTS credits and 1 worth 5 ECTS credits). In addition, the first year of study consists of 1 module (4) with a compulsory course element (5 ECTS credits) as well as two elective course elements (each worth 5 ECTS credits), for a total of 15 ECTS credits:
1. Theory module 1: Theoretical Fields of Educational Psychology: Introduction (15 ECTS credits in total).
The module consists of two connected course elements:
1a. 'Introduction' (10 ECTS credits) and
1b. 'Academic profession and skills' (5 ECTS credits)

2. Theory module 2: Learning, Cognition and Development (15 ECTS credits in total).
The module consists of two connected course elements:
2.a Perspectives (10 ECTS credits) and
2.b Exercise and reflection element (5 ECTS credits)

3. Theory module 3: Development, Subjectivisation and Diversity (15 ECTS credits in total).
The module consists of two connected course elements:
3a. Perspectives (10 ECTS credits) and
3b. Exercise and reflection element (5 ECTS credits)

4. Methodology of Educational Psychology(15 ECTS credits in total).
The module consists of one compulsory course element:
4a. Methodology (5 ECTS credits)
Plus two elective course elements:
4b and 4c. Practice (each worth 5 ECTS credits)

The second year of study comprises one compulsory module worth 15 ECTS credits (¼ full-time *****alent), an elective module worth 15 ECTS credits (¼ full-time *****alent) and a Master?s thesis worth 30 ECTS credits (½ full-time *****alent).
5. Intervention from the Perspectives of Educational Psychology (15 ECTS credits in total).
The module consists of the compulsory course element:
5a. Methodology (5 ECTS credits)
Plus two elective course elements:
5b. and 5c. Practice (each worth 5 ECTS credits).

6. Development of Practice from the Perspectives of Educational Psychology (15 ECTS credits in total).
The module consists of one compulsory course element:
6a. 'Development of practice in fields of practice' (5 ECTS credits)
and two elective course elements:
6b and 6c. 'Exercises in analysis and development of practice' (each worth 5 ECTS credits).
