Work Shop


Dear Colleagues,

With great pleasure, the organizing Committee would like to invite you to special sections during the 22nd Congress of the Tunisian Society of Infectious Diseases and the 2nd Congress of The Federation of Arab Societies of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. The congress will be held in Hammamet, Tunisia, May 24- 26 2012.
• The first section, which is a workshop, will focus on the management of some difficult situations in the infective endocarditis (see the program below). This workshop will be an excellent opportunity for specialists from infectious diseases, cardiologists, microbiologists, pathologists and cardiovascular surgeons to discuss these difficulties through interactive clinical cases. This workshop is essentially for student in specialty but others degrees are also welcome. The English will be the official ******** of this session. The registration to the workshop must be sent to the organizers (DR Letaief Amel, DR Znazen Abir) by email before March 20th, 2012 with precising the specialty, the degree and the department attached to. The number of places is limited to 25 and registration fees are fixed to 50 USD (50 DNT for Tunisian participants).
• The second section will be oral presentations after two lectures on infective endocarditis. All doctors working on the subject and estimating that their results are very interesting to the arab community are invited to submit abstract for this section. The submission should be done through the website of the Tunisian society of infectious diseases, before March 20th, 2012.

En marge du 22ème Congrès National d'Infectiologie et du 2ème Congrès Arabe de Maladies Infectieuses et de Microbiologie organisés par la Société Tunisienne de Pathologie Infectieuse (STPI) et «Federation of Arab Societies of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases» (FASCMID) un workshop sur l'infection à VIH aura lieu le 23 Mai 2012 à l'hôtel le Royal Hammamet. Vous trouverez ci-dessous le programme scientifique. Les frais de participation sont fixés à 50 Dollars incluant les documents et une pause café.

Ce workshop comportera des cas cliniques interactifs. La langue utilisée sera prioritairement l'anglais. L'utilisation de la langue française est possible en fonction du profil des participants.

Le nombre de place est limité à 25 participants. Les demandes d'inscription doivent être adressées par Email en précisant la fonction et la spécialité. Le dernier délai est fixé au 29 février 2012. Les inscrits recevront un E-mail de confirmation de participation au workshop au plus tard le 31 Mars 2012. Une attestation de participation sera délivrée à la fin de la formation.

Par ailleurs, j'ai le plaisir de vous informer qu'une session sur l'infection à VIH aura lieu le vendredi 25 Mai 2012 de 14H30 à 16H30.

Dear colleagues

On the sidelines of the 22nd National Congress of Infectious Diseases and the second Arab Congress of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology organized by the Tunisian Society of Infectious Diseases and the Federation of Arab Societies of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (FASCMID), a workshop on HIV infection will be held on May 23, 2012 at Royal Hotel Hammamet. You will find below the scientific program. The fees are set at 50 USD, includes materials and a coffee break.

This workshop will include interactive clinical cases. The ******** is primarily English. The use of French would be possible depending on the profile of the participants. The number of places is limited to 25 participants. Applications for registration must be sent by Email, please specify the function and speciality. The deadline for registration is February 29, 2012. All participants will receive an email confirmation of participation in the workshop no later than March 31, 2012. A certificate of attendance will be delivered at the end of training.

Also, I am pleased to inform you that a session on HIV infection will be held on May 25, 2012 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
