JC2012 — EMULSIFICATION: Modeling, Technologies and Applications
Dates 19 Nov 2012 → 21 Nov 2012
Lieu Lyon, France
Résumé Emulsification is a complex process at the interface of chemistry, interface physics and fluid mechanics. The generation of liquid-liquid emulsions, their implementation and their characterization within a reactor is also a strong issue, common to the chemical, petrochemical, nuclear, cosmetics, and food industries.
This conference proposes to bring together researchers from academia and industry involved in emulsions, to provide a forum for exchange and discussion of recent scientific and technological advances in the relevant areas: basic models of rupture / coalescence, Fluids mechanics, characterization techniques, physical chemistry of interfaces.
The conference is part of the series of the Jacques Cartier Meetings.
Sujets emulsification processes, industrial applications of emulsions, modeling and simulation of emulsions, formulation and interface chemistry
